Winter Park had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They breezed by the Horizon Hawks to the tune of 54-20. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 26 points or more this season.

Horizon's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bradley Webb, who posted nine points and seven boards.

Winter Park is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Horizon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-20.

Winter Park and Horizon could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Winter Park will square off against Evans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 42 places (51 vs. 9). Similarly, Horizon (ranked 575th) will meet Harmony (ranked 99th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
