Football Recap: Decatur Community Red Devils vs. Hoxie Indians        
        
		
             After soaring to 32  points the game before, Decatur Community was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  on Friday. They were  outmatched by the Hoxie Indians at home  and fell  45-12. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
 Although Decatur Community took the loss, they still got scores from  Josiah Pattangall and  Kaden Sowers.
 Hoxie's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Duncan Bell, who threw for 120 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score.  Braydon Scheetz helped  Bell out on the ground, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 32 receiving yards.
 Decatur Community's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Hoxie, their victory was  their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 5-0.
 Decatur Community will head out to  take on Stockton  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Decatur Community is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 33.6  points per game  this season. As for Hoxie, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Hill City  at 7:00  p.m. One thing working in Hoxie's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  in their last four games.
