Volleyball Recap: Calhoun Christian Comes Up Short

Calhoun Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Athens Indians. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in October.

Calhoun Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 17-20-2. As for Athens, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-31 record this season.

While Calhoun Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
