Softball Recap: Bethany Community Wolves vs. Oxford Prep Griffins

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bethany Community walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Oxford Prep Griffins 2-1. That's two games straight that the Wolves have won by just one run.

Audrey Waddell made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs.
