Soccer Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Madisonville Mustangs, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 747th, while the Mustangs are ranked 252nd).

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Madisonville, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Coincidentally, Trinity and Madisonville will both be playing Crockett the next time they take the pitch. Madisonville will host Crockett at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Trinity will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
