Basketball Game Preview: Newcomb Central Huskies vs. Bolton Central Eagles

The Newcomb Central Huskies are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will square off against the Bolton Central Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Newcomb Central is leaving town to face Bolton Central after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Newcomb Central might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Chazy an easy 54-32 win.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bolton Central). They claimed a resounding 78-12 victory over Johnsburg Central. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

Newcomb Central better keep an eye on Jadynn Egloff. She was instrumental in Bolton Central's win, putting up 30 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Egloff has scored at least a third of Bolton Central's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maille Kelley, who posted ten points.

Newcomb Central was dealt a bruising 62-17 loss at the hands of Bolton Central when the teams last played back in January of 2020. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Newcomb Central was down 46-6.
