After a string of four wins, Churchill's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Johnson Jaguars by a score of 3-2. The Chargers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 8-4.

Lauren Wasiak made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Churchill now has a losing record of 13-14-1. As for Johnson, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Churchill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 19-2 win against LEE on the 17th. As for Johnson, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-2 victory against Clark on the 17th.
