Baseball Game Preview: Del Campo Cougars vs. Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos

The Del Campo Cougars will challenge the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Del Campo will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Del Campo had just enough and edged out Twelve Bridges 5-3.

Brody Bieneman was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Del Campo: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 11-12-1 otherwise.

In other pitching news, Del Campo got a great performance from Logan Smith as he tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. What's more, Smith posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.

Bieneman wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Carter Farris, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That's the most hits Farris has posted since back in April of 2024. Landen Hill was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Del Campo pushed their record up to 14-12-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Twelve Bridges, their victory bumped their record up to 12-14.
