            The Cresskill Cougars will head out on the road to  challenge  the Park Ridge Owls  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Cresskill has given up an average of 8  runs per game this season, but Wednesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Cresskill came up short against  Dumont on Tuesday, falling  16-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Cougars have suffered  against the Huskies since May 7, 2016.
  Angelo Cristantiello made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs and one  double.  Luke Kopczynski also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 New Milford hit Park Ridge with a six-run sixth inning  on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Owls lost  14-3 to the Knights. The Owls' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Park Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Cresskill, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8-1 record  this season.
 Cresskill took their  win against Park Ridge  when the teams last played  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  16-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
