Game recap: Daingerfield High School Football Team tops Pottsboro

POTTSBORO, Texas - Daingerfield (Texas) notched 14 points on top of its 32-point lead going into the fourth quarter to win against Pottsboro (Texas) 56-10.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Tigers led 28-10 at the half.

Daingerfield grew its lead to 32 points entering the fourth quarter. DHS scored two times in the third, including once on a passing touchdown.

The loss snapped Pottsboro's 10-game winning streak.

Pottsboro's only touchdown came on a 50-yard pass in the second quarter.



The Cardinals came in surrendering 17.3 points per game this season. The Tigers came into the game allowing 15.8 points per game. The 10 points that Pottsboro ended with were well below its average of 22.9 coming into the game.

The defeat comes as a step back for Pottsboro, which notched a 14-13 victory over Redwater in its previous outing.
