Basketball Recap: Pierce Bears vs. Colusa RedHawks
Pierce was the 67-52 winner over Colusa when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pierce Bears fell 62-55 to the Colusa RedHawks on Friday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Pierce still got an impressive performance from Devin Garcia, who posted 21 points and four steals. Garcia continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Gavin Guynn was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Pierce's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Colusa, they moved to 6-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
Pierce wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-42 defeat against Durham on the 21st. Colusa has also already played their next matchup, a 66-39 victory against Willows on the 21st.
