Football Recap: O'brien RVT Starts Season with Victory on the Road

O'Brien RVT had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Amistad Wolves by a score of 24-14.

O'Brien RVT's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Colon, who rushed for 34 yards and one TD, and also threw for 85 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six passes. The Condors' leading receiver Austin Fernandes was Colon's top target yet again, picking up 65 receiving yards and one score.

O'Brien RVT didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Fernandes and Michael Flynn.

O'Brien RVT has already played their next contest, a 26-13 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 19th. As for Amistad, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 51-0 loss against Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial on the 20th.
