Softball Recap: Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes vs. Onalaska Hilltoppers
Eau Claire Memorial had lost seven straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 6-17 to make it eight. They fell just short of the Onalaska Hilltoppers by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hilltoppers this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-4 defeat last Friday.

Mackenna Dohms spent all 9.2 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Eau Claire Memorial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kieva Shilha, who went 1-for-5 with one RBI.
