Kennedy waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Colton Vikings 15-3. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by eight runs or more this season.

Kennedy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Colton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-1 record this season.

Kennedy will head out to square off against Country Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Colton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Paul at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Buckaroos have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.13 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
