Peabody (Trenton, Tenn.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as it ran for a touchdown with with 9:00 to go in the third quarter, bringing the team to victory over
Humboldt (Tenn.) 21-14.
The teams went into the locker room at halftime deadlocked at 14. The Golden Tide took the lead for good on a rushing touchdown in the third quarter.
The loss snapped the Vikings' 5-game winning streak.

Nic McLilly played well. The junior wide receiver ran for two touchdowns.
Coming into the game Peabody had allowed 28.6 points per game this year.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which HHS took, 35-14.
The loss comes after Humboldt defeated Greenfield 27-0 last week. With the win PHS extended its winning streak to three games.
In a A District 14 game next week Humboldt (5-3) takes on Lake County, and Peabody (5-3) will go up against Halls also in a A District 14 game.
