Baseball Recap: Campbell-Savona Comes Up Short

Campbell-Savona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornell Red Raiders.

Campbell-Savona saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Loveless, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That RBI was Loveless' first of the season.

Campbell-Savona's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Hornell, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Campbell-Savona wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 defeat against Avoca Central on the 9th. As for Hornell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-7 loss against Geneseo on the 9th.
