Worthington Kilbourne is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Hilliard Bradley 3-2.

Worthington Kilbourne wouldn't go down easily and took Hilliard Bradley into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 23-25, 25-16, 15-12.

Worthington Kilbourne found their leader in sophomore Asher Post, who had 14 digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Fairmont had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Shamrocks.

Fairmont took Dublin Coffman into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-27, 25-20, 15-11.

Fairmont's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Worthington Kilbourne, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Worthington Kilbourne took their victory against Fairmont in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Firebirds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
