Softball Recap: Starmount Sets Scoring Season-High Against North Stokes

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Starmount). They never let the North Stokes Vikings get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Friday. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Starmount's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for North Stokes, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3-1.

Coincidentally, Starmount and North Stokes will both be playing Mount Airy the next time they take the field. North Stokes will host Mount Airy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Starmount will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
