Softball Recap: Lumberton Takes a Loss

Lumberton lost to West Fork last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders fell just short of the Gators by a score of 7-6. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lumberton's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for West Fork, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Looking ahead, Lumberton will square off against Anahuac at 11:50 a.m. on Friday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for West Fork, they will face off against Goose Creek Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
