Volleyball Recap: Gridley Has No Trouble Against Anderson + How To Watch

Gridley won the last time they faced Anderson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cubs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Gridley was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-15.

Iris Counihan paced Gridley's offense, picking up 13 kills. Counihan got some help from Isabel Santillan and her 25 assists. Santillan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Gridley's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Anderson, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gridley will head out to take on Marysville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Anderson, they will face off against Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
