Baseball Recap: Berwick Takes a Loss

Berwick made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Dallas, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Mountaineers by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Berwick saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Lisnock, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Berwick's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Dallas, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Berwick has already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Greater Nanticoke Area on the 24th. As for Dallas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Pittston on the 24th.
