Soccer Recap: Green Valley's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Del Sol on Monday, Green Valley came back down to earth. The Gators fell just short of the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Green Valley couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Amilcar Cipili, which was the first he's scored this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Green Valley fell to 3-1. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Valley will venture away from home to challenge Basic at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they will head out to face off against Western at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
