Basketball Recap: Lee-Scott Academy Gets the Win + How To Watch

The Lee-Scott Academy Warriors didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Childersburg Tigers on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 55-51 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Lee-Scott Academy can attribute much of their success to Haiden Harper, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 14 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Chapman Harris, who posted 12 points.

Lee-Scott Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in eight consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Lee-Scott Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Childersburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Lee-Scott Academy will square off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Childersburg, they will challenge Central of Coosa County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
