Baseball Recap: Overlake Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Overlake won the last time they faced Granite Falls and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Owls walked away with a 6-1 win over the Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Owls.

Overlake pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Granite Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Overlake will head out to take on South Whidbey at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Granite Falls, they will be playing at home against Darrington at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
