On Wednesday, Spruce Mountain faced Mount Abram in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Spruce Mountain Phoenix secured a 63-57 W over the Mount Abram Roadrunners. The win was nothing new for the Phoenix as they're now sitting on four straight.

Spruce Mountain's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Mount Abram, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spruce Mountain will take on Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
