Soccer Recap: Stratford Takes a Loss

Stratford had taken Hanahan down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Knights fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 1-0. Stratford's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Hanahan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Stratford and Hanahan could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings. The Knights (ranked 117th) will meet Wando (ranked tenth) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hanahan will challenge Oceanside Collegiate Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (129 vs. 15).
