Basketball Recap: Weeping Water Comes Up Short

Weeping Water played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 71-31 loss at the hands of the East Butler Tigers. The Indians were down 57-27 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nate Tejan, who posted nine points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Keegan Wipf-Dieter, who put up seven points and five boards.

Weeping Water dropped their record down to 8-16 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for East Butler, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.

Weeping Water does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Butler, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-40 loss against Elmwood-Murdock on the 27th.
