Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Park Takes a Loss

Lincoln Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kenwood Broncos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Kenwood scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

Lincoln Park's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Kenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Lincoln Park will be taking part in a tournament against Marian Catholic at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kenwood, they will head out to take on Payton College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
