Basketball Recap: Bandon Takes a Loss

Bandon lost against Oakland back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bandon Tigers had to suffer through a 62-33 loss at the hands of the Oakland Oakers. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bandon's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Oakland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bandon Tigers face off against the Myrtle Point Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bandon is facing Myrtle Point at the right time seeing as Myrtle Point is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Oakland, they will welcome Illinois Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
