Paulding is still undefeated this season after their match against Ayersville on Friday, but Ayersville came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Pilots 35-32. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Paulding's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Ayersville, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paulding will take on Fairview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Apaches have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Ayersville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Edgerton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
