Recap: Taylor Titans vs. Delphi Community Oracles
The Taylor Titans won the last time they faced the Delphi Community Oracles, and things went their way on Monday too. Taylor came out on top against Delphi Community by a score of 49-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Taylor.
Taylor found their leader in underclassman Dre McClatchey, who scored 22 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Binnion, who scored 12 points.
When it comes to explaining why Delphi Community lost, one person who can't be blamed is Chase Almager. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. The match was Almager's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Walker Jones, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Taylor pushed their record up to 6-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Delphi Community, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taylor will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rossville at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Delphi Community, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Pioneer at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st.
