It was a good run, but York unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 13-3 to the Adams Central Patriots.

York saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carsen Pieper, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

York's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Adams Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. York will face off against rival Blair at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Adams Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Lincoln Lutheran at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
