Softball Recap: Parkview Comes Up Short

Parkview fell victim to Nettleton and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Patriots' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Parkview's record now sits at 6-17. As for Nettleton, they moved to 4-14 with that win, which also ended their 14-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkview will square off against Stuttgart at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ricebirds have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Nettleton, they will take on West Memphis at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
