Seven Lakes won the last time they faced Mayde Creek and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Spartans walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Rams.

Nathan Johnson was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other pitching news, Sebastian Silva looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

Back at the plate, Carter Nannini was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Jace Garcia, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Seven Lakes' win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Mayde Creek, they dropped their record down to 2-19-1 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

Seven Lakes will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
