Baseball Recap: Fairview Wins Going Away Against Wauseon

Fairview made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Wauseon, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Apaches blew past the Indians 8-2 on Friday. For the Apaches, this counts as revenge for the 9-2 victory the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

The team relied heavily on Gavin Palladino, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Logan Olinger, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Fairview's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Wauseon, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairview will welcome Archbold at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wauseon, they will face off against Pettisville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
