Basketball Recap: Cheney Triumphs

In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Cheney Cardinals made off with a 48-47 win over the Augusta Orioles.

Cheney has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points over those games. As for Augusta, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.

Cheney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-48 defeat against Dodge City on the 9th. As for Augusta, they have also already played their next contest, a 58-42 win against Circle on the 9th.
