Natalia is 8-2 against Dilley since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Mustangs will challenge the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Natalia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Natalia took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Cotulla by a score of 7-2.

Arabella Gallegos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Anaya Jones, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Selyene Gallegos, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Natalia was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .355 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Dilley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Lytle, falling 14-6.

Natalia is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Dilley, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-15.

Everything went Natalia's way against Dilley in their previous meeting back in March, as Natalia made off with a 15-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
