Recap: Swainsboro Tigers vs. Dublin Fighting Irish

The Swainsboro Tigers were the 28-7 winner over the Dublin Fighting Irish when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Swainsboro suffered a tough 41-20 defeat at the hands of Dublin on Friday. It was the first time this season that Swainsboro let down their fans at home.

Among those leading the charge was Micah O?neal, who rushed for 148 yards on only eight carries. Xavier Bostic and his 104 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Dublin's win.

Swainsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Dublin, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Swainsboro will head out on the road to face off against Metter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Metter will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Dublin, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Screven County at 7:30 p.m. Screven County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 330th, while Dublin is ranked 110th).
