Softball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-2 to the Gaylord Blue Devils. That's two games in a row now that the Oilers have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gaylord, the win was the 15th in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Mt. Pleasant will challenge Midland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gaylord, they will take on Dow at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
