Basketball Recap: Parker Darnold's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Colville over Medical Lake

Colville lost against Medical Lake back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colville Crimson Hawks came up short against the Medical Lake Cardinals, falling 72-52. The Crimson Hawks' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Several Crimson Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Parker Darnold, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jet Bateman, who had seven points.

Colville's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Medical Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colville will head out to challenge Riverside at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Riverside's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for Medical Lake, they will head out on the road to take on Lakeside at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
