Castle is ranked highly in their home state and on Wednesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Apollo. The Knights came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 5-1. The win was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Castle's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Apollo, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castle will take on Evansville Harrison at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Apollo, they will challenge Muhlenberg County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
