Basketball Recap: Greyhills Academy Comes Up Short

Greyhills Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Northland Prep Academy Spartans, falling 69-26. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 87-29 last Tuesday.

Leading Northland Prep Academy to victory were Jaden Joiner and Kian Khatibi. Joiner posted 11 points along with six assists and three steals, while Khatibi went 6 for 12 en route to 12 points and five assists. That's the most assists Joiner has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jack Beckstead, who earned nine points and three steals.

Greyhills Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Northland Prep Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-9.

As of now, neither Greyhills Academy nor Northland Prep Academy have any future games scheduled.
