Academy of Science and Innovation waltzed into their match on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Comp Sci Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Ravens, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Academy of Science and Innovation took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-14.

Academy of Science and Innovation got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alisa Kandic out in front who had 12 assists and three aces. Kandic has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ajla Jusic, who had six aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Academy of Science and Innovation was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.

Academy of Science and Innovation's win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Academy of Science and Innovation will welcome Cromwell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Ravens are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Comp Sci, they will take on Prince RVT at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
