Imlay City had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 58-25 win over the Algonac Muskrats. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Muskrats are ranked 632nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Imlay City's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Algonac, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
