Soccer Recap: Pepperell Comes Up Short

Pepperell lost against Bremen back in February of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pepperell Dragons lost 7-0 to the Bremen Blue Devils. One thing that didn't help the Dragons' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Emma Loveless.

This is the second loss in a row for Pepperell and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Bremen, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Pepperell will challenge Model at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pepperell has given up an average of 4.9 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Bremen, they will head out to face off against Darlington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
