Morningside Academy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Port St. Lucie Jaguars 3-0. For the Eagles (Eddy), this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Jaguars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Morningside Academy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Port St. Lucie to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17, 25-15.

Morningside Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Port St. Lucie, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
