Roosevelt dropped down to 11-7 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Rough Riders couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Cuyahoga Falls, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-15-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since April 21st.

For Cuyahoga Falls' part, Mick McVicker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits.

At the plate, Brady Burns was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Coming up, Roosevelt will head out on the road to challenge Ravenna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cuyahoga Falls, they will host Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Royals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Black Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
