Normal West extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 19-9 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Peoria Notre Dame Irish. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since March 18th.

Chase Reinhart spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Chase Knuth, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
