Basketball Recap: Union County Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Henderson County, Union County was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 61-51 win over the Muhlenberg County Mustangs. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Braves considering their 24-point performance the game before.

Muhlenberg County's loss came despite strong showings from Taylor Wilkins and Izzy Wilkins. Taylor went 7 for 11 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds, while Izzy went 6 of 10 on her way to 15 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Jaycee Harper, who posted five points and five boards.

Union County now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Muhlenberg County, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-16.
