Baseball Recap: Cass Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cass's offense. They came up short against the Allatoona Buccaneers on Tuesday, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Colonels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cass now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Allatoona, they pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

While Cass had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
